1. Information We Collect

When you use SendDearly, we collect only the minimum information necessary to generate and deliver your digital surprise:

• User Content: Photographs, custom letter messages, voice clips, background song selections, and milestone dates you upload into our editor.
• Account & Profile Data: If you choose to log in (via Google OAuth or Email Magic Link), we store your name, email address, and generated links so you can view your purchase history in your dashboard.
• Payment Information: All payment transactions are handled securely by Razorpay. SendDearly does not store your credit card numbers, CVVs, or banking credentials on our servers.
• Technical Diagnostics: Anonymous view counts and browser telemetry (e.g., screen dimensions) to properly scale animations on recipient devices.

2. How Your Photos & Media Are Stored

All uploaded photos and audio files are stored in high-security, encrypted cloud storage (AWS S3 / Google Cloud Storage) with strict access control policies.

• Zero Search Engine Indexing: Recipient view links carry strict noindex, nofollow headers, preventing Google and other crawlers from exposing your private memories in public web search.
• Randomized Secret Tokens: Each surprise URL is generated with cryptographically strong, non-guessable identifiers.

3. Guest Personalisation & Local Storage

When you edit a template as a guest, your in-progress draft text and image previews are stored locally on your device using your browser's localStorage. This ensures you can refresh the page or try templates without having your unpublished drafts saved to a server until you decide to generate your surprise.

4. Data Deletion & Your Rights

You maintain full control over your personal data:

• Deletion on Request: You can request immediate, permanent deletion of any created surprise link, uploaded photograph, or entire user account at any time.
• To request data deletion, simply send an email to privacy@senddearly.online with your link URL or registered email. Requests are processed within 48 hours.
